Breakside and study breaks

Breakside is a good enough brewery to warrant bringing me back. Especially for an all new flight!

IPA: Have had it before, hadn't written a review for it before, but it is a sultry, tangy, mouth-caressing little brew.

Autumn Gold: Didn't really know what to expect with this one - taste hit me right in the nose, and then slid gleefully down my throat to meet the Pad Thai I had earlier. Mmm.

Big Country Winter Ale: Again, this combines genres to combat portland's unseasonably cold weather, and I'm grateful, albeit wistful for less chocolate.

Smoked Apple: It's exactly what I ordered, but not what I wanted?

Pumpkin Bier: Very good, but I still haven't managed to find a PDX-equivalent to the Night Owl.

Coconut Pumpkin Stout: This puts things to shame. Wow. Damn. Wow. I wish I had a flight of only this. I could eat this for breakfast, lunch, and dinner, and get all the iron content I need. Mmmmmmmm.

As always, God I love Breakside.

Cheers, Philippe
